Week of Ministry in Oklahoma…

Good morning! I trust that you had a great weekend and today finds you enjoying the blessings of God to their fullest! It is a great day to serve the Lord and an exciting time for the church that the “gates of hell will not prevail against!”
I am a series of services this week with my friends Rich & Darla Young. They pastor First Assembly of God in Wagoner, OK. We had an awesome day yesterday. I preached on the F.O.G. (Favor of God) rolling in last night and it was wonderful to see the people respond. I believe there will be great testimonies from the prayers prayed. Also, I always enjoy the fellowship with Rich. Especially looking forward to lunch in about an hour. I am hungry today!!!!
I am currently working on a couple of new sermon series that we will make available within the next month. I am so grateful for the way the Lord has been working in me and on me. I feel refreshed and renewed. I was drinking coffee at McDonalds this morning (they do not have Starbucks here) and looking over my calender for the year. I am very excited about the open doors of ministry and believe it will be a great year of ministry.
Dianna is well. She and I will celebrate 3 years of marriage in 2 weeks. Yes, I do have plans!!!
Have a BLESSED week!!!!

I am in Mobile, AL. this week with my dear friends Pastor L.D. & Mabel Henderson. This is my 16th year in a row to minister in their church. It has been an amazing, God-given connection. I met the Hendersons in the early 90’s while speaking at an Alabama youth Camp. He took me to the airport after the camp and invited me to his church. They are GREAT friends and partners of our ministry. I always enjoy being with them and their wonderful people. Besides that, the weather is in the 70’s down here. I love that in February!!!
I will go home on Thursday and then celebrate Valentines Day with Dianna in Tulsa on Saturday. I am looking forward to that time with her. It has been a hectic two weeks and we need this time.
I am having lunch with my friend Joey Hipp on Wednesday. He pastors Cross River Church here. We were evangelists together for years before he started this church. I that God for relationships and divine connections through the years. God has sent many GREAT friends into my life. I am blessed!!! AND I pray you have a blessed week in the Lord! Blessings and favor on you!!
Forward Conference

I just got home from Ada, OK. where I spoke at the “Forward Conference” for Crosspointe Church there. I always enjoy my time with Shawn and Jennifer Wiebers, Lead Pastors. We had four other churches represented throughout the weekend and the Lord really honored our efforts. I appreciate this ministry opportunity and look forward to returning next year!
I barely made it in before the weather hit. They had snow and ice come across Oklahoma and Arkansas Monday morning. I did make it home safely but had to cancel my trip to Nashville to meet with my CPA. The weather is suppose to clear here by the middle of the day tomorrow. I hope you are staying safe during this winter season. Have a great week in the Lord!!
Where the wind goes sweeping down the plains….

I am in Oklahoma right now where “the wind goes sweeping down the plains” is a reality right now!! Whoa!! It is breezy!!
I dedicated Herbert & Tiffany Coopers baby, Case, yesterday morning at Peoples Church in Oklahoma City. Herbert & Tiffany are the Lead Pastors there. That evening I went with Herbert to his speaking assignment in Owasso. It was a good day to spend with my friend and “partner in ministry!”
Today it is dentist and haircut and blah blah blah!! (haha) Fun stuff!! This evening I will enjoy a meal with my parents before heading home tomorrow. I am fighting a sinus/allergy thing that is affecting my voice some. I appreciate your prayers. I have to speak in Ada, OK. Friday night and I need the Lord to touch me. God is good and faithful!! He will never let us down. Remember when you are down to “nothing”, God is up to “something.”
Window on the World

A story from England called the “Wonderful Window” tells of a London clerk who worked in drab and depressing circumstances. His office building was in a rundown part of the city and had not been maintained. However, the clerk was not about to let his outlook on life be determined by the dreariness of his surroundings. So one day he bought a beautiful multi-colored window painted with an inspiring scene.
The clerk took the window to his workplace and had it installed high upon the wall in his office. When the hard-working, dispirited clerk looked through his window, he did not see the familiar slum scenes, with dark streets and dirty marketplaces. Instead he saw a city with beautiful castles and towers, green parks, and lovely homes on wide tree-lined streets. He claimed it put a “halo” on his everyday tasks.
You do not have to let your circumstances or surroundings discourage you either! Do something different to change your outlook or perspective to come in line with God’s Word! Put on a garment of praise and clothe yourself in HIS righteousness today! We are called to bring His beauty to everyone around us. Let us determine that as we start 2009, we will change our outlook.

Church Planting in Ukraine

In 2009, we are excited to continue our church planting efforts in the country of Ukraine! We do feel a real sense of urgency in our spirits for this country. The need is great AND our burden is great!
We are able to help plant and support churches for one year for just $4,000. Our prayer is to do more than ever before. If you would like to help us continue this ministry, simply visit our Partners page for more information.
Also, Lynn had a great crusade in Rome, Italy in October, 2008. The international church there is pastored by missionaries Mike & Loretta Hopkins. Please continnue to pray for them and their work in Rome!

New Years Resolutions

Yesterday was a blurr!! I spent the entire day in the office working on getting out a newsletter and giving receipts for 2008. I had just flown in from Dallas on Thursday and left again today (I am in the Memphis airport right now). Oh well, got it done!! PTL.
So far I am doing well with my New Years Resolution of working out regularly. I know it will make me feel better. I plan to stay with it and increase gradually the intensity. I am also commited to fasting at least 3 days a month for 2009. I know the Lord has spoke to me about this and look forward to it. This is really a personal thing even though I know it will help my ministry as well.
Dianna is doing well. The boys have ballgames 4 of five weekdays over the next 3 weeks. That keeps her running. Her house cleaning business is also getting better, so she is very encouraged about that. We love you all and appreciate your prayers! Have a BLESSED week.
Happy New Years

Happy New Year! I started my first ministry assignment of 09 yesterday in Ft. Worth, TX. I am at Harvest Assembly for services through Wednesday night. Had a good day yesterday with Pastor Dale Shorter. This is my 4th time here in the last six years. Wonderful people and always have a good meeting here.
It is so good to be back on the road. I love the holiday season and the few weeks of being off is nice but I am ALWAYS ready to get back on the road and preaching Jesus! I feel refreshed and revived in my spirit and my flesh. I am very excited about this year. There are so many places on the schedule I am looking forward to being at. I am seeing a real hunger for the Lord and I love it!! Have a blessed week and be sure to stick with those New Years Resolutions!

Lynn,
Words alone cannot express my gratitude to you for your message on Sunday morning. I have spent 31 years of my life just going through the motions spiritually. Your message provided me both with purpose and a clear mind. My prayers are with you and your ministry!
